Markup Review
A blog about fixed gear cycles and cycling.
This site uses a nice semantic footer
that appears near the top of the code. It does exactly what a footer
is supposed to do – contain information about its nearest ancestor sectioning content/root, in this case the body
. On the flipside, using aside
to wrap the nav
is not necessary, and as aside
inside a section
is for content tangientially related to the section
content, using it to wrap the video doesn’t make sense, because the video is the section
content.
