Markup Review
A German language e-commerce site selling car parts.
The site makes heavy use of custom data
attributes throughout, and also new form
elements and attributes. The rarely seen pattern
attribute is used in the part selector form on the home page (the two input
s labelled HSN and TSN) to create a regular expression that the form field is validated against. It’s a very simple pattern in this case, and is made redundant by the maxlength
attribute, but nonetheless interesting to see in the wild.
The general structure of the site is perhaps not as noteworthy as there are a lot of untitled sections in the document outline.
