For the most part this is a well outlined site, with article and section being properly used. Each of the articles on the home page has a header and footer used in the correct way, and the asides use heading levels to create implicit sections. However there are a couple of untitled sections at the end of the document that could be replace by div or aside e.g. the archive at the bottom.

The h4 above the social links (stay connected with Newsweek) is actually the first – and highest level – heading element in the document that is not inside sectioning content, therefore has assumed the role of document title. The Newsweek Now section is well outlined with nested articles, although the asides could be footers instead. Most of the content of the site footer would on the other hand qualify as aside content.

The video element could possibly have been used on the video articles, and hgroup can only contain headings. Therefore the script tag inside the first hgroup is incorrectly used.
